Holly Wilhelm

Director of Youth and Family Ministry

“You, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are the work of your hand.” (Isaiah 64:8)

Through the totality of her experiences as a child of God, Holly Wilhelm believes that she has been molded and made for God’s purposes.  Holly says, “Walking the path He designed for me has prepared me to serve as the Youth and Family Ministry Director for Mount Calvary.”

As an active member of several Christian congregations, Holly has served as school board member and President, choir member and director, handbell choir member, VBS and Sunday School teacher, and committee member for a new childcare.  She was also active at the Christian Schools her children attended serving on school boards and a variety of committees.

Holly was born and raised in Sheridan, MI.  She graduated from Central Montcalm High School and Michigan State University, earning a B.A. in Communications and a Master’s degree in Labor and Industrial Relations.  In the process of raising four children, Holly realized a love of teaching and coaching.  In 2013, Holly earned a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and teaching certificate.  She taught 1st/2nd grade at Grant Christian School for five years.  She has coached girls’ basketball for ages 7 to 18, and even earned a trip to Class D Regional Finals.  After coaching little league softball, she became assistant coach for the JV Girls softball team in Fremont.

In July 2018, Holly married Pastor Jeff Wilhelm.  Together they are blessed with a family of seven children, three of whom are married thus far, and one granddaughter.

According to Holly, everything else pales in comparison to her identity as a member of the extraordinary family of God.  She says, “As a child of His, I am fearfully and wonderfully made in His image and am a receiver of His never ending grace. I am a sinner, but He has redeemed me and continues to mold me. I am eager to be used for His purpose; to help grow His kingdom.”
